Regulated Presence™
This session explores how HR professionals can maintain calm, clarity, and confidence in high-pressure workplace situations.
Using the Regulated Presence™ framework, attendees will learn how emotional activation impacts decision-making, communication, and overall performance during conflict resolution, investigations, organizational change, and other sensitive HR matters. Participants will gain practical insight into developing a steady, regulated leadership presence that supports effective problem-solving, professional credibility, and sustainable performance in demanding HR environments.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Explain how sustained emotional activation in HR roles contributes to energy depletion and nervous system fatigue.
Distinguish between reactive, restrained, and regulated responses in high-tension workplace interactions.
Describe the concept of Calm Presence Under Pressure as a professional leadership capability in HR.
Define Regulated Presence™ as a trainable competency that supports sustainable performance in high-stakes HR environments.
Available in-person or virtually via Zoom. A light lunch will be provided at the in-person event.
Program is certified for 1.0 credits for SHRM, HRCI, and ATD certifications.
